Located in the picturesque seaside city of San Clemente, this complete kitchen and family room renovation was designed to perfectly reflect both charm and functionality for a busy family of four. The space features fully custom white shaker cabinetry paired with a bold, colored island, an integrated pantry, and a dedicated bar area—all anchored by a generously sized center island that serves as the heart of the home.

With the clients’ demanding schedules, Grayfox Interiors took the reins, overseeing every detail and working hand-in-hand with trusted contractors to deliver a seamless transformation. A structural wall dividing the kitchen and family room was carefully removed, requiring creative engineering solutions for a post-tension slab, which allowed for an open, airy layout. We designed a striking family room feature wall with a large TV, integrated lighting, and hidden storage concealed behind sleek cabinetry, maximizing functionality without compromising style.

The glass tile accent wall became a dramatic focal point, complementing the kitchen’s refined finishes and thoughtful layout. The result is a sophisticated yet highly functional coastal retreat that blends elegant design, smart storage solutions, and a warm, inviting atmosphere—perfect for a family that values both style and livability.
